GenerationX
explores multiculturalism by presenting a collection of ideas and conversations
from my peers and this youth’s generation. The piece first explores how a group
of friends spend their free time and “relax.” I then explored the conversations
that occur about our cultures and other unfamiliar cultures to us. I believe my
generation is trapped between the old and the new; caught up in the whirling
world of forever-progressing technology and societal problems. We seem to still
be at the point where we’re leaving the politics up to the older generation. I
explore the diversity and the uniqueness of this generation in America today.
