My piece “mantra & how to feel unguilt” addressed
multiculturalism by capturing privilege. This is white, male,
socio-economically healthy, heterosexual, non-disabled privilege. It is the
king of all privileges. The words “everybody’s equal” are a subconscious record
that replays in the minds of the privileged. How can one be so blind to the
ease of living? So unwilling to admit that experience is not equal across the
board? This piece explores the cracks of privilege via the mantra that ties it
together.
