Multiculturalism is the end result of a society
living in harmony among people of all races, identities, and religions, but we
are not there yet. The path to multiculturalism isn’t always beautiful.
Cultures clashing and trying to co-exist can occur between generations of the
same family. This piece is a personal reflection of the heartache that can
arise from growing up in a different culture than your parents.
