Born into a conservative Christian family who
strictly abominate homosexuality in the name of God, I have ultimately rejected
all sense of spirituality. The short film “Return of the Repressed” presents
the internal struggle of faith that continues to surface through my
subconscious. My repressed anxiety, fear, confusion, and guilt in regards to
morality and religion are expressed through this dream-like video.
