Distribution, pull,
rest comments upon the necessity of having to coin such terms as
multiculturalism. In an ever-shrinking
world through digital media and cheaper and easier travel, the world culture is
becoming more and more homogenized. The
dangers of forcing tolerance and acceptance lies in that when we are forced to
do things, they are not always understood. While Multiculturalism leans in an
appropriate direction, it does not address the reasons why different cultures
are just this, different. Distribution, pull, rest, removes the
artists’ identities from Ralph Wallace, and gives emphasis to the hidden
aspects of their lives.
